Australian / New Zealand Standards recommends that the owner of a Medical Equipment, follow the guidelines of AS/NZS 3551 to ensure performance and safety testing is managed throughout the service life of medical equipment. All practices are required to have equipment testing in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act, Australian/New Zealand Standard 3551:2012 and RACGP requirements.
